Silver Cliff Bungalows, not surprisingly perched on the rocky cliff north of Sairee beach, is slightly overpriced but provides plenty of peace and quiet and wonderful views of the vast blue gulf. The huts here are spacious yet worn and very basic. They do have decent-sized decks perfect for enjoying sunsets or the cool breeze. The view from each room is amazing, but they get better the further down the cliff you get. The small, intimate restaurant sits at the top and provides the usual array of Thai and basic western dishes. Silver Cliff is best if you aren't planning on heading back and forth to the beach but rather want to relax with a good book or good company and soak up the view. After all, the view is what you're paying for.
