to get there
Transportation to the island is very simple: more comfortable
variant is the airplane transport from Bangkok to the island
Koh Samui (www.bangkokair.com)
followed by ship transportation (possible
choice is Seatran, Lomprayah,
Songserm).
The
trip by ship takes 2 hours. The cheaper variant is a night
train Bangkok - Chumpon with sleeping coaches or more fast
bus again to Chumpon followed by ship transport of the same
companies.
