Sairee View Resort & Restaurant
One of the places you MUST go when you visit Koh Tao is Sairee View. Not so easy to find, being at the very very end of Sairee Beach and up the hill it doubles as one of the best view points on Koh Tao.

What's special
Apart from the view - and very AMAZING - the owner of Sairee View has managed to restore a 6 meter long whaleshark skeleton. That's a great feat, and something I admire him for. The story goes that the skeleton was found in a very large cave further up the hill from the restaurant, nobody knows how it got there - a strange tale indeed.

The View
Even if you are not hungry, Sairee View is worth a visit - if for nothing else - then for the fantastic view. Still pictures just doesn't do it justice. Go there around sunset and you'll be taken aback - it's simply fantastic.

The Bungalows
If you are after a bit of solitude and fresh mountain air, then Sairee View will be your type of resort. The bungalows are new, clean and shares one of the best view of Koh Tao with the restaurant. It's a very small place, so you will quickly get friendly with the owner and his wife. They are both thai and very generous hosts.
