Resort
is situated on a gently-sloping hillside at the rocky northern end
of Mae Haad beach. This is a rather isolated spot that is very tranquil,
and while Queen has no restaurant, there is a handful to choose from
within a short walking distance. The reception area, located near
the road, is very cluttered, but luckily the rooms and the rest of
the grounds are clean. Some of Queen's large, comfy bungalows have
wonderful sea views, and all have easy beach access by a path leading
through the shaded terraced grounds. The staff here is friendly but
does not speak great English. There is a wide variety of room options
at different prices, most of which are very inexpensive. Perfect for
budget travellers and beachgoers who want to escape the hustle and
bustle of Mae Haad and Sairee beach while having easy access to all
the things those places have to offer. |
