Poseidon
Resort, located at the edge of the sand on Tanote Bay, provides
very basic no-frills huts at a good price. The small wooden bungalows
are very simple and a little weathered but are clean and comfortable
for the price. Most are up the hill a short distance behind the
beachfront restaurant. The laid-back restaurant offers a decent
selection of Thai food and a few western standards at reasonable
prices. This spot is very quiet but has plenty to offer those seeking
good times in the water. Kayaks (100B/hour) and snorkels (50B/day)
are available for taking advantage of Tanote Bay's clear waters
and abundant sea life. Safe boxes, laundry (50B/kilo) and travel
assistance are also available. Poseidon has a special taxi departing
Tanote at 09:00, 13:00 and 16:30 for 80B/person and departing Mae
Haad at 10:30 and 14:30 (other times will cost 150B/person).

Tanote
Bay
Located on the west side of island. Good for snorkeling. There are
big rocks in the middle of the bay where you can find lots of different
marine life. The way to there needs quite a good skill of motorbike
riding.
