Koh Tao. This is a very nice little island. Aow Leuk, (southeast) even called Deep Bay. Nice Moon Bungalows, out in the busches, 200 baht/night, electricity 7 p.m-10 p.m. Aow Leuk is famous for having such a clear water and lots of people come her to dive and snorkelling. Snorkelling with a lot of fishes, big and small ones. Even sharks!!!

Aow Leuk Bay

Located on Koh Tao's eastern side, Aow Leuk is a top spot for snorkelling. The bay is surrounded by steep hills and is only accessible by boat or by a small path from Rocky Bay. If you are a bit adventurous and make the effort you will not be dissapointed. Aow Leuk is a truly beautiful place to spend a lazy afternoon.

The beach itself is around 200 meters long and absolutely crispy white. There is one resort in Aow Leuk with offers very basic accommodation and one restaurant. Unfortunately it is not possible to arrange accommodation with this resort online and most of it's bungalows are rented on a monthly basis by long term residents of the island.
