Wong Bungalows offer some of the cheapest accommodation
and friendliest service on Koh Tao in a totally peaceful and rustic
location. This spot right on the bay is difficult to leave, and
they make it even harder with super cheap long-term rates. While
the small basic huts aren't much to look at, they are in fair condition
and provide a great base for those who want to get out and play
in the water or simply enjoy the quiet of Koh Tao's lesser-developed
east coast. Kayaks (200B/hour, 250B/half day, 350B/day) and snorkel
gear (80B/hour or half day, 10B/day) are available at the reception
area. For those who don't want to be totally shut off from civilisation,
daily boats and songthaews to Mae Haad and Sairee run at 08:30 and
13:30 for 80B/person. |
