Char Bungalows Koh Tao... Up the hill from Sai Nual Bay and along its southern cliff sits Char Bungalows. The friendly couple at Char accommodates mostly backpackers. Their cheapest huts are tiny and generally in sad shape. A better choice is the larger, more solid deluxe bungalows with two beds that offer more comfort and space and are still very affordable. Most of Char's rooms have stunning bay views, and great snorkelling and swimming are just steps away. Char's restaurant makes delicious Thai food and also offers western options, and its prices are more reasonable than the other restaurants on Haad Sai Nual.
