The Party vibe has got into the islanders blood and there are several other venues around Koh PhaNgan that are staged to to off in different areas so as not to disturb one locality. All are outdoor parties and a lot of effort goes into making each one a unique party experience that only Koh PhaNgan could give.

Half Moon Festival, Ban Tai
The Half Moon Festival goes off twice a month and it's a massive event. It happens a week before and a week after the Full Moon Party (FMP) in brilliantly decked out Ban Tai Jungle with resident DJs Jao, Psy-Frog and Note; expect hard progressive and quality trance from the Harmony team. Black Moon Pary, Ban Khai
Black Moon Culture is where the Black Moon Posse host one of the island's best outdoor parties on Ban Tai beach; with amazing decor, a super sandy venue, driving progressive beats, underground trance and DJs Bang, Leung and Jonny.

Pirate's Bar - Moon Set Party
The Moon Set Party is usually 3 days before and after FMP and is situated in a small cove at the south end of Haad Chao Phao. The setting is amazing with a backdrop of shear rock cliffs and DJs set in the rocks.

Green Cross Party, Haad Rin
Monthly Green Cross parties are held at various venues 3 days be fore Full Moon. Raising awareness of the environment to visitors by encouraging them to clean up visitors by encouraging them to clean up their own rubbish and dispose of cigarette butts. Raffle tickets and t-shirts are sold on the night with some fantastic prizes, such as a night's accommodation, a free dive, free meals, shop discounts etc. Funds raised are used to clean the beach and eventually purchase a beach cleaning machine for the island - so do your part! For the next event, look out for flyers 3 days before Full Moon.

Big Mango, Thongsala
A great outdoor venue, the Big Mango hosts Live music every month. Special prices on draught beer throughout January.

Ju Ju Bar, Haad Yao
Funk, Soul, Roots...it's in the music here. Opening December 2006 for regular late parties and daily sessions from mid-day.

Long Shot, Thongsala
Popular warm-up drinking spot before heading off to the major parties. Free pool, happy hour cocktails and imported beers.

Hideaway, Thong Nai Pan Nai
Every Friday the Hideaway Bar opens to a full house of party hungry revellers; music policy rotates between funky disco and tech-house, turn up and see what is on offer.

MTF Diving Pool Party, Thongsala
Monthly pool parties 2 days before FMP at Weang Thai Resort. Superbly set around the beachfront swimming pool and bar you can cool down from 12pm onwards with a progressive beat which picks up throughout the evening. Wet t-shirt competitions, drinking games and other entertainment to keep you in the party mood.

Same-Same Live Music, Haad Rin
Every FMP and twice a week during High Season, Same-Same introduces a Thai cover band strumming out classic Pop and Rock to hoards of thirsty punters.
