PhaNgan Animal Care

PhaNgan Animal Care (PAC) has been improving the lives of the island animals since September 2001. As the only animal clinic on the island, they have treated everything from turtles to pelicans and have never turned away a patient in need.

PAC aims to control the dog population by neutering instead of poisoning, and to make the island rabies free through our (now well established) neuter and vaccination programme. They welcome visitors and volunteers at the clinic and are happy to show and explain their work.

PAC is a non-profit organisation, run entirely by volunteers and donations. They need all the help that we can get! You can find donation boxes in bars, restaurants and resorts around the island. Any gift, no matter how small, makes a huge difference to the work that we can do. Just 50 THB pays for a rabies vaccine - that's the price of a beer.
