Marek - Creative Director
The founding member of the company. As creative director he is always at the cutting edge of the latest video and editing developments. An experienced long term videographer and technical diver Marek has been based on Koh Tao since 2002. Originally from the Czech Republic Marek has won distinguished awards in europe for his video editing skills.

Elliott - Technical Director
Elliott's key role is ensuring the smooth running of the companies' extensive electronics, as well as monitoring quality control of all creative output. Elliott has been living on Koh Tao since 2001 and has climbed to the rank of PADI Master Instructor. 10 Years prior experience in digital media in the UK gives a solid foundation for his roll in the company.

We also have support team of additional instructors / videographers / editors helping us run the business smoothly, as well as finishing large projects on tight deadlines.

Advertising Services
We have the exclusive Television Commercial (TVC) Advertising Rights for all Seatran Discovery Ferries between Chumporn, and the islands of Koh Phangan, Samui, and Tao.

For this service we have equipped all the Seatran Discovery boats with a combination of HD Samsung 32"-42" LCD and Plasma screens. Using our exclusive technology we create a separate DVD for each route with TVCs and entertainment pre-loaded in sequence to match the length of the journey.

Using this service your business can reach a direct audience of hundreds of new customers on a daily basis. Imagine all the passengers on the ferry being able to see a professional video commercial for your business en-route to your location.

Your advertising package includes the professional shooting and editing of your TVC at no extra charge. Minimum contracts are available for 3 months so you can try this new medium without worrying about a huge outlay. When you see it working for you - just extend your package. Standard TVCs are 45secs long, but annual subscribers get big discounts and a full 60secs for their TVCs.

Our original specialty was and still is underwater videography. Whether you just want some stock footage or a daily video service for your customers our network of videographers can take care of all of your needs.

Upstream Studio is proud to support the next generation of tomorrows video artists, and offers tailor made training courses to match your requirements. Our selection of courses cover everything from basic shooting all the way through to u/w housing servicing and maintenance.

Our partnership with DJL dive school offers complete packages including any necessary PADI or BSAC scuba diving training as well.
