Yoga
is a fun and inspiring way to work with the body, mind and the
spirit. It makes us feel healthy, look fit and it clears our mind.
Yoga creates awareness of ourselves and all that is around us.
This is what I would like to share with you, this sensation of
well being, living life with passion and enjoying the journey.

My
classes are taught with simple and clear instructions. This makes
the classes accessible for all levels, spontaneous and fun. I
like to make time to pay attention to personal differences and
development. So always feel free to ask questions or to ask for
personal assistance. Mira

Happy
souls and happy soles? The classes and workshops Bootsabaa offers
are down to earth. With both feet on the floor, not only your
head up in the sky.

Yoga
and the workshops, will not only change you physically but also
clear your mind and will make you look at life’s challenges with
a more positive look. Seeing them as adventures and possibilities
for change. Making you aware that change is within you. That with
your smile, you get smiles back and that a small change like this
will spread. We are here to live, laugh and love. Bootsabaa hopes
to make this possible for many. Not only for people but also for
our precious mother earth with her beautiful oceans, deserts and
forests and all the animals in it, let them all blossom.
Yoga
Hatha
Yoga
Each class starts with a short relaxation. This is followed by
pranayama, a breathing practice to bring your awareness to your
breath and to let you settle back into your body.

After
warming the body up with sun salutations we will guide you through
a sequence of basic and more advanced postures. We stay in the
poses for a few breaths giving time for personal adjustments and
variations. Just going a little bit further into the stretch.
The final relaxation will let go of all tension in the body, making
the energy in the body flow more freely. You will feel relaxed,
balanced and happy!
Yin
Yoga
Most styles of yoga focus on stretching the muscles. In Yin yoga
we stretch the bones, joints and the connective tissue. These
tissues are tough tissues and to stretch them we have to stay
in the postures for 3 to 5 minutes.
The connective tissue holds the energy channels, also called meridians
or nadis. By practicing Yin yoga we keep these tissues healthy
and strong. It promotes flexibility and stimulates Chi flow.

Yin
yoga is also referred to as a quiet practice which will bring
one in a space of tranquility and peace. Staying in the poses
is like a meditation into the pose. Gently flowing on your breath
and bringing your awareness to your body and mind.

Yin
yoga is a perfect balance for people who practice a Yang sport,
like aerobics, running or like Ashtanga yoga. It is also a great
feeling after days of travel to stretch the bones, joints and
the connective tissue, releasing tension from sitting or carrying
a heavy backpack.
Yin
to Yang Yoga
In the Yin to yang class we balance body, mind and spirit by spending
time on Yin postures and yang postures.

In
the Yin practice we hold the poses for 3 to 5 minutes with the
muscles relaxed. In this way we stretch our bones, joints and
our connective tissue, promoting flexibility, keeping our bones
and joints healthy and stimulating the Chi flow.
The
Yang practice is more dynamic and we flow from posture into posture,
holding them for only a few breaths. This creates more muscles
strength and tones the body.
Both
practices complement each other, stretching all tissues of the
body and balancing the Chi flow.

Yin Yoga Workshop
The Yin yoga workshop focusses on the hip and spine series. It
will give you enough knowledge to safely implement Yin yoga into
your own practise. In the Yang styles of yoga most of us are familiar
with, we stretch our muscles.

Yin
yoga stretches are deeper in the body and we hold the poses longer
with the muscles relaxed. It is done slowly and safely, without
pushing or strain. In Yin yoga we stretch the bones, joints and
the connective tissue. This keeps these tissues healthy and strong
and promotes our flexibility.

By
stretching the connective tissue which holds the energy channels
also called meridians or nadis, we can release blockages and stimulate
and balance Chi flow. Yin yoga is a preparation for meditation,
making it easier to sit comfortably. It lets you enjoy a sense
of peace and makes you feel physically and mentally healthy, fit,
strong and aware. It is a true inspiring practise.
Breathing & Meditation Workshop
Sometimes our mind seems to take us for a ride. This makes it
difficult to focus. In this workshop you will experience that
the mind and the breath are closely connected.

Most
of us have heard the expression 'take a deep breath' when you
were feeling tense or stressed and realized that it worked. That
for a moment it will give you a bit of space and clarity in your
head. Our breath is the tool which we can use to calm and clear
our mind. In this workshop you will reconnect with proper breathing
and practise breathing exercises called pranayama.

Pranayama
regulates the flow of prana in our body. Prana is the vital energy.
Pranayama has many more benefits other then calming and clearing
our mind. It also revitalizes and recharges us. With pranayama
as a preperation for meditation we will introduce you to meditation
styles of various traditions, welcoming you to a sense of peace,
stillness and clarity.
Taste of Awareness Workshop
With this workshop we invite you to come closer to yourself and
all that is around you, making life more effortless and joyful.

In
this workshop we will give you a taste of meditation, yoga, breathing,
creativity and healing. All workshops are unique. We organize
them around you. Everyone is welcome. All you need is to be motivated
to go on this inner journey to the heart of your being, to be
open minded and enjoy living life consciously with love and Joy.
Koh
Tao
Koh
Tao is a small island in the Gulf of Thailand. It is just a 1.5
hour boat ride away from Koh Samui or Chumphon. It is the island
to relax and enjoy a tropical atmosphere.

Not
too long ago, Koh Tao was known for being a divers island. One
said there was no need to go there if you were not a diver. That
has definitely changed. These days, Koh Tao is an island which
has lots to offer for everyone and for every budget.

Sairee
beach is the main beach, nice for a run or a walk. There are many
smaller and more secluded bays and beaches. Here you can enjoy
some amazing snorkeling or just relax on the beach and read your
book. If you are up for an adventure, you can go kayaking, hiking,
climbing, skin diving with sharks and lots more.

Are
you more up for a relaxing day? Discover the island spas and get
pampered with rejuvenating massages, facials and steam rooms or
enjoy the hot and ice baths at Yakuzen garden while sipping of
one of their fresh fruit and herb drinks.

My
favorite time on Koh Tao is the sunset. I love watching the sunset
from the beach. There is a magical energy on the beach when the
day flows over into night.

For
dinner you can choose from some great restaurants that will tingle
your taste buds with delicious food. If after dinner you still
have some energy, go to Sairee beach to watch the fire twirlers
and be taken by their amazing show. Did all this fire wake up
your party senses? Then, with your feet in the sand, dance the
night away.
It
is all possible on Koh Tao.
