crowds to the best dive sites in Koh Tao. We still believe
that diving is exploring and finding unique experiences,
instead of a massgroupsport.
We
also organize day trips around the island and three
day adventure trips to the islands of Angthong “The
Beach”.

Dive
education courses
The
PADI System of diver education allows anyone from the
age of 8 to experience the thrills of the underwater
world.
Diving
allows you a degree of freedom and weightlessness that
is normally only experienced by astronauts.
Most
people begin their Diving Education with the PADI system,
the PADI Open Water Course. This takes three to four
days depending on where you learn and qualifies you
to dive 18m with any other similarly qualified diver.

Koh
Tao Divers diving school is located on the south end
of Sairee Beach. Five minutes walk from Mae Haad (the
pier) and five minutes walk from the junction of north
Sairee. The resort is close to everything, but hidden
from the concrete jungle of shops and big resorts of
mass tourism. Everything is build in traditional thai
style; The In-Touch restaurant area, drink bar, 18 wooden
bungalows and the classroom.
What

Koh
Tao is not only a divers paradise, a big part of it
charm comes from the smiling people and the diversity
of things that you can do here. For example Rockklimbing,
Watersports (all kind), Fishing, Yoga, Trekking, coocking-

PADI
Discover scuba diving / SSI Try Scuba
For
you, who have never dived before, a 1 hour taste of
scubadiving in a calm and shallow water. We go trough
the very basics of dive theory and then do one dive
with an instructor.
Entry
level for scubadiving, which teaches you the information
and skills to dive safely the tropical waters around
the world, and rent or buy your own scuba, fill up your
tanks and take apart for any organised divetrips. Maximum
allowed depth after the course will be 18m/60ft.
Course
structure: 5 academic sessions (video optional) Confined
water session 1-2 hours of practicing the skills in
a shallow water you might need during your open water
dives, final examination and 4 open water dives.
Minimum
age: 15
Minimum age: 10 (Junior Open Water)
Recommended time: 3 to 4 days

PADI
Advanced open water diver course / SSI Advanced Adventurer
If
you want to improve your diving skills and learn about
different topics you can do underwater, this course
is for you! More relaxed than Open Water Course, since
you already know how to dive, no exams! This course
is based on diving and doing the things you’d love to
do underwater, and the goal is to gain experience and
to began more confident. There is a list of more than
20 different elective dives to chose from, just to mention
a few; deep diver, drift diver, night diver, cavern
diver, multilevel diver, research diver, wreck diver,
underwater hunter, u-w naturalist, u-w navigator, u-w
photographer, u-w videographer, u-w scooter , etc.
This
course is a good idea to take for example straight after
your Open Water Diver Course!
Course
structure: 5 dives, 5 different topics (2 core dives,
deep and navigation and 3 dives of your own choice)
Minimum
age: 15
Minimum age: 12 (Junior Advanced Open Water)
Minimun training: Open Water Diver or qualifying rating
(CMAS 1)
Recommended time: 2 to 3 days

PADI
Rescue diver course / SSI Stress and Rescue
After
your Advanced and a few fun dives you might want to
do some more challenging dives maybe in a more demanding
environment, then the possibility that a problem might
accure to you or your buddy will encreace and that is
the time it would be better to know how to handle rescue
situations. Starting from simple skills such as how
to handle a cramp in your buddys leg or all the way
how to manage a whole rescue scenario. Rescue diver
course will teach you all of this, and it’s maybe the
most fun of the courses.
Course
structure: Rescue Diver video, 4 academic sessions and
exams+final exam, Inwater training 5 sessions
Minimum
age: 15
Minimum age: 12 (Junior Rescue Diver)
Minimum training: PADI Advanced Open Water or qualifying
rating (CMAS 2) / SSI Stress and Rescue course you can
take right after SSI Open Water Diver course.
Recommended time: 3 to 4 days

Who
would not rather dive with a buddy who knows CPR or
basic medical first aid? Excellent medical course also
for non divers. This certification or qualifying rating
you need for example to be certified as a PADI Rescue
Diver or PADI Divemaster.
Course
structure: Academics, video and practical training.
Want
to become pro diver? Divemaster course is the first
professional diving course, during the course you get
to know a lot, so take your time. It can be done in
two weeks, but experience goes a long way. Course schedule
depends a lot of you, your instructor and your co-divemaster
candidates. Twelve topics make up the Knowledge Development
module. You’ll cover these topics through independent
study, projects, and discussions. Inwater practice goals
are to emprove your dive skills and rescue skills, act
as a rolemodel for beginners, learn to assist instructors
at their work and deal whit a actual students and fun
divers. Plus you’ll learn managing, marketing, equipment,
organising and how to handle groups. Upon completing
all the reguirements for certification, you’ll become
a PADI Divemaster, a member of PADI, the world’s largest
and most respected organization of dive leaders and
professionals.
