OPEN
WATER DIVER
Why
become an Open Water Diver?
The
most popular dive program in the world allows you to
dive with a buddy, independent of a professional. Your
license is internationally recognized, so you will be
able to happily dive around the world, to a maximum
depth of 18m. The fun really begins already during the
confined water dives, in a body of water with pool-like
conditions, under your instructor's guidance and supervision
and where you will be immediately surrounded by tropical
fish..
Why
do I need to start?
Virtually a good health, or a medical clearance
from your doctor and be reasonable fit. Minimum age:
10 years for Junior Open Water
How
long will it take?
All the diving courses are 'preformance' and not
'time' based. But you could complete your course in
no more than 2 to 3 days
What
will I do? Throughout the course, you'll learn the
fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment
and thechniques. You earn this rating by completing
confined and knowledge development sessions and by making
four awesome open water dives!
'If'
you come out after the last dive, you will be a certified
Open Water diver.
We say 'if' as many of you will simply refuse to stop
diving and just keep on going will we are waiting and
waiting.. Once back in the dive center, you will log
your dives in divers-logbook which Impian Divers offers
you free of charges during this Open Water course. Your
instructor will officially certify you as a new member
in the Order of Certified Divers, sealed with a cold
drink..or two
The
course fee includes all materials, all instruction,
all equipment rental (safety balloon/whistle) and all
necessary paperwork and processing.

Primary Care (CPR) course. The course encompasses CPR
skills, and First Aid training. Many divers take
the Emergency First Response courses to meet program
pre-requisistes, such as PADI Rescue Divers, or as preparation
to become a PADI Divemaster. However, most have also
found the EFR program to be important in every day life.
They have taken a significant step in emergency prepareness,
and make one feel confident to use their skills.
