Koh Phangan is the perfect place to learn diving. The waters in the bays around the island are shallow, makes it easy for you to take your first breath from a regulator. There are no strong currents and all the dive sites are very close to the island.
PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) is the world’s largest diver training organization. With a PADI Diving Certification Card you can be assured that your diving qualifications will be recognized worldwide.

As a PADI rewarded Dive-Center we offer all PADI Courses from Bubblemaker to Assistant Instructor in English, Deutsch, en francais. Our PADI Dive Instructors teach to divings highest training standards, using the latest PADI Materials and providing our student divers with MORE IN-WATER-TIME than other programs.

For you that means a higher quality course, more personalized training and more diving-experience. Located on the beach we are able to offer you extremely comfortable, relaxed diving, avoiding all the taxi transfers around the island to and from swimming pools and local divesites!

HAAD YAO DIVERS is accepting referrals from other agencies or PADI Dive-Centers. Referrals usually are given when the customer is unable to complete the course und would like to finish it with Haad Yao Divers.

Our free Pick-Up Service is limited to the west coast of Koh Phangan (Bankai up to Chaloklum). If you are staying at Haadrin or the east coast please contact us for transfer arrangements.

Advanced Divers can improve their skills on our house-reef and join the Peak Performance Buoyancy workshop, the navigation specialities or night-dives, right in front of the bungalow. Our favourite places for deep- and multilevel-specialities are SAILROCK and SOUTHWEST-PINNACLE. For Marinelife-Enthusiasts the ANGTHONG MARINEPARK offers a big variety of Marinelife.

Our Dive-Center is melted into the resort and you can enjoy all the facilities like restaurant, bar etc. during your course.

PADI Scuba Diving GO PRO

Have you ever thought of making a career out of diving? Imagine doing something you love in warm tropical climates and getting paid for it! You will need to have completed the PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water and Rescue courses (or equivalent), before you can enroll in a PADI Professional Course.

Entering the Professional level of scuba diving brings you new challenges and endless possibilities. Our experienced staff-instructor will teach you on high professional level up to Divemaster and Assistant Instructor.

PADI Scuba Diving GO TEC

Technical diving is one of the fastest growing segments of the recreational diving business. Koh Phangan Fun Diving

OUR DIVETRIPS ARE RELAXED PERSONALISED AND FUN - There are an abundance of DIVESITES around Koh Phangan which are perfect for beginners and experienced divers.
From easy dives off the beach to longer trips by boat you can experience the tropical world of the Gulf of Thailand. Year round our boat runs daily to the premier dive sites like Angthong National Marine Park, Sailrock, Koh Tao, The Pinnacles You can choose between local dive trips, daytrips or beach dives. At HAAD YAO DIVERS you will dive with the same level of divers, we do not mix beginners and experienced divers!

For your safety the boat is equipped with radio, phones, First Aid, Oxygen Unit and Lifewests. All our PADI Professionals are trained in First Aid and are certified Oxygen providers.

Haad Yao Divers - Dive Boat

The Haad Yao Divers Boat is a 23 m custom built dive boat. The boat caters to both snorkeller and scuba diver.
There are two decks, one a dive deck with a large dive platform, equipment area, dry area, kitchen counter, food counter with a seating area and a toilet. The second deck consists of a shady place with tables and benches for teaching and logging, a counter and a sundeck for sunbathing and the captain’s cabin.

The boat is equipped with oxygen, first aid and lifewests. All our staff is trained Emergency First Aid Responders and DAN Oxygen Providers. A guide for snorkelers is always available. We are also offering diving aboard traditional longtailboats which take you on shorter trips around Koh Phangan.

Fun Diving DAY TRIP
Our dive guides are qualified PADI Divemasters or PADI Scuba Instructors who are experienced with Koh Phangan divesites. You will dive with the same level of divers, we do not mix beginners and experienced divers. A thorough Dive-Briefing and Planning is guaranteed. We take a maximum of 4 Divers per Dive master which guarantees you stress-free and more personalized diving. All our trips include 2 dives (on the Pinnacle Trip 3 dives). The boat is leaving the harbour at 8.30 am and, depending on the divesite, you will be back at your resort between 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm. Early enough to enjoy the sunset!

On all the DAYTRIPS we serve you a little breakfast, 2-set Thai-Lunch, fruits, coffee, tea, softdrinks and lots of drinking water.

Fun Diving LOCAL TRIP
For the closer local dive sites along the westcoast of Koh Phangan we are using our traditional Longtailboat which brings additional fun and adventure to your dives. All the divesites are in a short distance to the shore (maximum 20 minutes boatride). On request you can spend the surface interval on one of the beaches of the westcoast. Our Thai-Captain is a certified diver himself and familiar with a the local sites. He will give advice for the best place in season. The boat is equipped with First Aid Equipment.

On our LOCAL TRIPS our Divemaster will serve you some tropical fruits, Thai-snacks and drinking water.

Koh Phangan Snorkelling
All our Divetrips are suitable for snorkelers as well. However there is a little different for snorkelers, depending on weather- and divesite conditions. Please ask our staff before you book for a trip.

The most suitable sites for Snorkeling are along the westcoast of Koh Phangan with our Longtailboat. You can find beautyful corals and fish in shallower depths which allows you relaxed snorkeling and you can visit different places on one day.

For daytrips the most exciting place is Angthong Marine Nationalpark. The places close to the islands there offer phantastic snorkeling where you can experience the same marinelife like divers. The sites we visit on Koh Tao are variable and ideal for experienced snorkelers or people just want to try it out alike.

The deeper divesites like Sailrock we recommend for more experienced snorkellers and adventure lovers.

All our snorkelers receive a extended briefing before entering the water.
