Good Time Adventures is small friendly dive shop where you get the personalized touch to every dive that the large resorts simply cannot apply. Our diving is primarily conducted using our Explorer 320 fiberglass dive boat that seats 14 people, has a canopy to protect you from the sun and cold beverages on board. Because of its speed we can have you at the dive sites in minutes instead of hours. Our focus of diving is adventure diving; where we make sure you get the best possible dive with our experienced Dive Master’s and Instructors and by going to the best dive sites when no one else is around to allow you the room to move underwater. Our equipment is all very new and all customers that are NITROX qualified we can arrange tanks free of charge. So come for a dive with us and you’re gonna have a good time..

ADVENTURE Diving
Sometimes called local diving or fun diving, we take you from the dive shop on the beach on our speed boat to the best and uncrowded dive sites around Koh Tao. Utilize our comprehensive dive site maps and marine life identification software to enhance your dive and know what you are looking at. As our diving is based around Adventure diving and not specifically teaching people to dive, we are able to offer options to our dive locations and times that you the customer can have input on where and when you dive. Our Adventure diving packages are as follows:

1 dive 2 = 1,200 THB
4 dives = 1,100 THB
5-9 dives = 1,000 THB
10+ dives = 900 THB

PADI Advanced Course and PADI Specialities
Koh Tao has a big range of dive resorts and dive shops mainly focused in teaching people to dive and dive career progression. However at Good Time Adventures we only teach Advanced diving in the form of Adventures dives (such as night, deep, diver propulsion vehicle, NITROX etc), PADI specialities consisting of 2-4 dives on a specific area (deep to 40m for example) and PADI Advanced Open Water courses. We differ from the norm by not trying to rush you through in the fastest time possible but by taking a few days to ensure you get the best education and to allow us to take you to the best sites for each advanced dive.

The PADI Advanced Open Water course includes 5 dives of which two (Deep and Underwater Navigation) are complusory and you can then choose three of the following to round out the course: Diver Prolulsion Vehicle, Drift, Multi level and dive computer, Night, Peak performance buoyancy, Search and recovery, Underwater naturalist, Underwater photography and Enriched Air NITROX.

The PADI Advanced Open Water course is 9,000 THB and includes quality instruction from our experienced instructors, a manual for you to keep and our brand of speedboat diving treating you as a person not as a number to ensure you take the best possible experience and instruction away with you.

Green Fins Reef Watch
With Goodtime Adventures you can participate in Green Fins Reef Watch, A United Nations Environmental Program. In a two dive trip we will teach you the importance of the marine environment what and how we effect it and conduct surveys underwater to help monitor and determine the local reefs health. All statistics are complied and sent off to Green Fins to enable then to monitor Thailand's marine environment.

SPECIALS
-Chumphon Monday: Double dive at Chumphon Pinnacle; in the early afternoon when the sharks and marine life are at their most prolific and other divers are no where to be seen .Widely regarded as the Gulf of Thailand's premier dive sites, 10 km Northwest of Koh Tao. The site is comprised of one huge granite pinnacle with some smaller pinnacles rising from the bottom. 40 Meters. Grey Reef Sharks, schooling Barracuda. Batfish, Giant Gropers, Pacific Lionfish, occasional Whalesharks.

- Sail Rock Wednesday: Double dive at Sail Rock, one of the more famous Scuba diving sites in the Koh Samui archipelago. It is an iceberg shaped pinnacle that rises from the sandy sea floor at 40 metres and rises 15 metres above the surface. It is a suitable dive site for all levels of diver, from Discover Scuba up. Its surface consists of small patches of hard and soft coral. Common fauna that may be seen include barracuda, batfish, jacks, occasional whale sharks, and many other species of tropical fish. Visibility is usually in the 10-30 meter range. For more advanced divers, there is a vertical 'swim through' on the northwest side of the rock. Commonly called "The Chimney", it begins at a depth of 18 meters and exits the rock again at depths of 12 and 6 meters.

- Cave diving Friday: Every Friday afternoon we hit up two sites on Koh Tao that are cavetastic (Laem Thien, Green Rock, Aow Mao etc). You can explore these great caves and swim throughs to find the better hidden marine life living within. These dives differ from the norm by taking you into magnificent cathedral like caves, long snaking tunnels and massive caverns to really get a feeling of doing something different underwater.

Skin Diving
Tao has some of the most accessible coral reefs in the Gulf of Thailand, from fringing beach reefs to isolated pinnacles. Our staff can show you where the best places are and with some basic instruction get you a little deeper for a little longer. You don't have to be a SCUBA diver to see what Koh Tao has to offer underwater We also have equipment available half day and daily for hire. We almost always combine this activity with one of our adventure activities such as rock climbing as it allow you to cool down in the Thailand Heat!! We can show you places with caves and swim throughs around the island.
